As an artist, I concern myself with the natural world, its shapes, colors, and textures. Everyday scenes attract me.
With my work, I hope to encourage the viewer to slow down and reflect on their own memories, experiences and feelings.
My subjects and media are varied, but in each work, my goal is to reach out to the viewer.
My work has been influenced by living in the Carolinas, where I can experience the mountains and coast as
well as rural and urban areas. I have been fortunate to study with amazing teachers both locally and by
traveling to workshops, including a semester as a resident artist at Braitman Studio in Charlotte NC. I
have had the opportunity to show and sell my work in galleries and venues across North Carolina including
a solo show at Mooresville Arts and an upcoming solo show at Sunset River Gallery in Calabash NC.

My work is in corporate, municipal and private collections across the US and internationally. I enjoy
participating in plein air events and was awarded a plein air award at Southport Plein Air Festival 2024.
